Job Title: Mechanical Draughtsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman with 2 years of experience in preparing detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings. The candidate should have practical knowledge of MS (Mild Steel), SS (Stainless Steel), tube sections, L-angles, wood, plywood (PB), and MDF materials. The role also involves preparing packing lists, handover documents, and coordinating with production and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Develop production drawings for MS, SS, tube sections, L-angles, wood, plywood (PB), and MDF-based products.
- Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and design requirements.
- Prepare cutting lists, fabrication details, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Generate packing lists, handover lists, and production documentation.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes and production feedback.
- Coordinate with production, procurement,



quality, and installation teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage).
- Positive knowledge of MS, SS, tube sections, L-angles, wood, plywood (PB), and MDF materials.
- Understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes.
- Experience in preparing packing lists, handover documents, and material lists.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Draughtsman or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, fabrication, furniture, interior fit-out, or engineering industries.Role & responsibilities
