Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings, designs, and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and modify engineering drawings: Develop and revise detailed drawings, diagrams, and models of engineering systems, components, and structures using CAD software.

2. Interpret engineering designs: Analyze and interpret engineering designs, specifications, and requirements to ensure accurate representation in drawings.

3. Collaborate with engineers: Work closely with engineers to understand design requirements, provide feedback, and ensure drawings meet engineering standards and customer requirements.

4. Maintain drawing records: Organize, update, and maintain accurate drawing records,



including revisions and changes.

5. Ensure compliance with standards: Verify that drawings comply with company, industry, and regulatory standards.

6. Develop and implement drawing standards: Assist in developing and implementing drawing standards, procedures, and best practices.

7. Provide drafting support: Offer drafting support to other departments, including manufacturing, and construction.

8. Stay up-to-date with CAD software: Participate in training and stay current with current CAD software features, updates, and industry developments.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or degree in drafting: Completion of a diploma or degree program in drafting, engineering design, or a related field.

2. CAD experience: Proficiency in CAD software, such as 2D AutoCAD, SolidWorks.

3. Engineering knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mathematics, physics, and materials science.

4. Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.

5. Communication skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers and other stakeholders.Role & responsibilities
