Role/Specialization: Interior Planner

Objective: Showcase a strong and timely capability of delivering high-end residential and luxury mixed-use space interiors. This role demands a strategic thinker who can seamlessly align and ensure following of a strict timeline in terms of design concepts, in our various projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Create Progress Sheets & Track Design Development: Develop and maintain detailed progress tracking documents for each interior design project. Record all phases of work including concept development, design documentation, tendering, execution handovers, and final completion. Coordinate with design consultants to ensure timelines and deliverables are documented and met.
2. Ensure Design & Regulatory Compliance: Plan and implement interior design processes that comply with local building codes, fire safety norms, and relevant industry standards. Work closely with legal and liaison consultants to ensure all design proposals adhere to regulatory requirements. Ensure interior drawings remain aligned with compliance and brand standards throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Budgeting, Costing & Resource Allocation: Support project costing by providing accurate BOQs, material specifications, and design input during value engineering. Review cost estimates and vendor quotes to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints while maintaining design quality. Coordinate with cost consultants and internal teams to ensure efficient use of resources.
4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including management, architecture, sales, execution,



and marketing teams to align interior design outputs with broader project goals. Work with external consultants such as MEP consultants, lighting designers, and specialized vendors to ensure cohesive design integration and timely resolution of design-related issues.
5. Drive Design Process Timelines & Quality: Lead the end-to-end interior design lifecycle timelines from concept development to execution ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality. Conduct regular design reviews and on-site quality checks to ensure fidelity to the design vision.
6. Maintain Industry Awareness & Innovation: Stay up to date with global and local trends in luxury interior design, materials, lighting, automation, and space planning. Research and propose cutting-edge solutions that enhance spatial quality, sustainability, and functionality. Attend design expos, vendor meets, and industry forums to source new products and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skill-sets:

1. Bachelors Degree in Interior Designing or equivalent.
2. Masters degree in Project Management from NICMAR is preferred.
3. Proven ability to track progress and install timeline adherence.
4. Proven, robust work experience of 7 10 years with reputed firms, preferred 4 years in luxury projects .
5. Strong analytical and stakeholder and project management ability.
6. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
