Senior Observability Engineer LogicMonitor

Location: Bengaluru

Work Model: Hybrid

Experience: 5 8 years (minimum 2 years hands-on L2 LogicMonitor experience)

Compensation: Up to 13 LPA (based on relevant experience, current compensation, and assessment outcome)

Shift Requirements

- A Shift: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
- B Shift: 1:00 PM 10:00 PM
- C Shift: 9:30 PM 6:30 AM
- Rotational on-call support required

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot LogicMonitor, including setup and maintenance of collectors, devices, resource groups, properties, user roles, alert rules, and maintenance windows.
- Manage and optimize SNMP-, WMI-, and SSH-based monitoring integrations.

- Develop, customize, and troubleshoot LogicModules (DataSources, ConfigSources).
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, thresholds, and alerting mechanisms; focus on reducing false positives.
- Use scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation, tool integrations, and process improvements.

- Provide L2 incident management and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.




- Participate in a rotational on-call support schedule and work across multiple shifts as required.

Key Requirements

- Must-Have:
- 5 8 years overall experience with at least 2 years of hands-on L2 LogicMonitor administration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of collectors, devices, resource groups, properties, user roles, alert rules, and maintenance windows in LogicMonitor.

- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SNMP, WMI, and SSH-based monitoring.
- Hands-on with LogicModules (DataSources, ConfigSources).
- Familiarity with dashboards, reports, thresholds, and reducing false alerts.

- Scripting and automation experience with Python and PowerShell.
- Proven L2 incident management and SLA-based support background.
- Preferred:
- Exposure to integration with other monitoring tools.

- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
