Mechanical Engineer with experience in New Product Development (NPD), Sheet Metal Design, and Product Development. Skilled in developing new products from concept to production using SolidWorks/ and AutoCAD. Experienced in sheet metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and assembly.

Strong knowledge of GD&T;, DFM, BOM preparation, prototype development, engineering change management, and manufacturing process optimization. Capable of coordinating with design, production, quality, vendors, and customers to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new sheet metal products from customer requirements and drawings.
- Create 3D models, sheet metal parts, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare BOM, fabrication drawings, and DXF files for production.
- Perform feasibility studies and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Coordinate prototype development, testing, and validation activities.




- Support tooling, fixture, and gauge development.
- Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Work closely with production, quality, purchase, and suppliers for smooth product development.
- Improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost through design optimization.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
