Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager – Plastics to lead the end-to-end development of new plastic products, from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in polymer materials, plastic processing technologies, product design, tooling development, and cross-functional project management. The role requires close coordination with Marketing, Production, Quality, Procurement, and customers to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end new product development projects for plastic products.
- Develop cutting-edge products based on customer requirements and market trends.
- Select suitable polymer grades and raw materials based on product application.
- Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams during product development.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for new products.




- Develop product specifications, BOMs, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Plan and execute product trials, validation, and pilot production.
- Resolve technical issues during product development and production scale-up.
- Work closely with tool manufacturers for mold development and modifications.
- Ensure products comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Manage multiple development projects while meeting project timelines and budgets.
- Drive product improvement, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support customers during product development, sampling, and approval stages.
- Mentor and guide the NPD team to improve technical capabilities and project execution.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of plastic materials, polymers, additives, and processing techniques.
- Hands-on experience in Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, or Thermoforming.
- Knowledge of mold design and tooling development.
- Understanding of product validation and testing procedures.
