Certifications (Mandatory): CCNA, CCNP or another vendor Equivalent

Certifications desired: Any vendor Security Certification like Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto

We are seeking a highly motivated and security-focused Level 2 Firewall Engineer to join our growing network security team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our firewall infrastructure, playing a critical role in safeguarding our network environment.

The team member will be responsible for the administration of the Security Devices like Next Gen Firewall, UTM, Load balancer, WAF, Proxy, email gateway etc. He should be well versed in the Change and Incident Management process. He should be ready to work in 24 X 7 shift.

Technical skills:

- Administration and Troubleshooting of any TWO of the following Technologies.

- Next Gen Firewall /UTM – Palo Alto (Preferred), Juniper (Preferred, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco FTD/ASA

- Load Balancer – F5

- Proxy /Web Gateway – Blue coat (Preferred), Proofpoint, Z-Scaler

- Email Gateway Security – Mime-cast, IronPort, Proofpoint

- NAC- Cisco ISE (Preferred), Aruba

- Positive Understanding of ITIL concepts

- Good understanding of

- Incident Management,

- Change Management and

- Problem Management

Responsibilities:

· Health Monitoring of the devices

· Handling of P1, P2, P3 and P4 tickets till its closure





· Lifecycle Management for all the devices that are under Management.

· Day to Day Administration Task for Firewall like o Firewall rule changes, Route configuration, Interface configurations, Zone creation, IPsec Tunnel configuration, Blocking Malicious traffic, Certificate Renewal and other BAU major changes.

· Day to Day Administration Task for Proxy like o Blacklisting and whitelisting, AAA policies, Monitoring emails, Certificate Renewal

· Day to Day Administration Task for Load Balancer like o VIP configuration, iRules configuration, Pool Members, Health Monitors and other BAU tasks

· Day to Day Administration Task for Email Security Gateway like o Policy Configuration, email tracking, spam release, Spam/phishing/spoofed/blacklisted domains and other BAU tasks.

· Creation of SOP that will be followed by the Level 1.

· Guide the level 1 team for any issues.

· Follow Incident Management, Change management and escalation management process for all processes.

· Coordinating with the OEM for tickets raised with them for the product.

· Weekly & Monthly report preparation for SOC Management

· Management of content of weekly, Monthly Report & Dashboard as proposed.
