Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in configuring, deploying, and supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks , along with strong knowledge of routing, switching, and Cisco network security technologies. The role involves network administration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and implementing secure, highly available network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP .
- Implement and support Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching technologies, including:
- VLANs
- STP / RSTP / MST
- EtherChannel
- VTP
- Inter-VLAN Routing

- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operations.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs.
- Plan and execute network changes, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
- Configure and manage network security features such as:





- Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Port Security
- Network Segmentation
- Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)

- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure reliable network connectivity.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in on-call support, incident management, and scheduled maintenance activities.

Required Skills

- 8-10 years of enterprise networking experience.
- Solid expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networking .
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching .
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP .
- Experience with Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Network Security including ACLs, Port Security, and Network Segmentation.
- Exposure to Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and SD-WAN is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
