2 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Architect with 12 18 years of experience in designing, assessing, and transforming large-scale enterprise data networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in enterprise network architecture, network transformation programs, SD-WAN, SDDC, SD-Access, cloud networking, routing and switching technologies , and network modernization initiatives.

The role involves assessing existing enterprise network environments, defining transformation roadmaps, designing scalable network architectures, and supporting large-scale modernization programs. The candidate will also collaborate with pre-sales teams, architects, and business stakeholders to develop innovative network transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess enterprise network environments and perform network due diligence for large and complex infrastructures.
- Develop enterprise-wide network architecture, strategy, technical direction, and transformation roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise data network solutions.
- Lead enterprise network transformation initiatives involving SD-WAN, SD-Access, Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), and Cloud Networking.
- Design routing, switching, WAN, LAN, wireless, and hybrid cloud connectivity architectures.
- Define network modernization strategies focused on automation, observability, resiliency, and operational excellence.
- Design secure network architectures aligned with enterprise security standards and Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Support pre-sales teams by preparing technical solutions, architecture documents, RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation, and customer presentations.
- Drive network automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, and Ansible.
- Design monitoring and observability solutions using enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, risk analysis, and technology recommendations.




- Present architecture strategies and transformation roadmaps to executive leadership and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Technical Skills 1. Enterprise Network Architecture & Design (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture and solution design.
- Expertise in designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise LAN, WAN, Data Center, and Cloud network architectures.
- Experience creating network blueprints, architecture standards, and transformation roadmaps for large enterprises.

1. Routing & Switching (Mandatory)

- Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, and enterprise campus networking.
- Strong understanding of high availability, redundancy, and network performance optimization.

1. Enterprise Network Assessments (Mandatory)

- Proven experience conducting enterprise network assessments, discovery, due diligence, and infrastructure health analysis.
- Ability to identify architecture gaps, risks, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
- Experience preparing assessment reports and recommending future-state architectures.

1. Network Transformation (Mandatory)

- Hands-on experience delivering at least one large-scale enterprise Network Transformation Program.
- Strong experience implementing SD-WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), SD-Access, and cloud networking solutions.
- Experience planning migration strategies with minimal business disruption.

1. Cisco Certifications (Mandatory)

- CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, or equivalent advanced networking certifications are highly preferred.
- Robust expertise in Cisco enterprise networking technologies and architecture best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills 1. Network Monitoring & Observability
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, BigPanda, SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, or AppDynamics.




- Ability to design proactive monitoring, alerting, analytics, and operational dashboards for enterprise networks.

1. Network Automation

- Experience automating network provisioning and configuration using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Netmiko, NAPALM, or similar automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices.

1. Cloud Networking

- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking services.
- Experience designing public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud network architectures, including connectivity, routing, security, and load balancing.

- Exposure to AIOps, predictive analytics, and AI-driven network operations.
- Experience leveraging analytics and automation to build intent-based, self-healing network architectures.
