Job Description

PCCS Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a dynamic and experienced Zonal Head to lead and manage logistics operations across a defined zone. The role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with deep experience in logistics, supply chain management, and multi-location operations leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of branch managers and staff across multiple locations within the zone, ensuring operational goals are met.
- Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and delivery across the zone.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational efficiency, and drive continuous process improvements to optimize cost, timelines, and service delivery.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies aligned with company goals, including demand forecasting and resource planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.




- Own the zone's budget and financial performance, identifying cost-reduction opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and national regulations including health and safety standards; conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Leverage logistics software, ERP systems (WMS/TMS), and technology solutions to optimize performance and drive innovation across the zone.
- Identify potential operational and business risks and implement mitigation strategies, including business continuity and contingency planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 7-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Mandatory industry experience in logistics, transportation, courier, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-location teams and driving measurable operational and cost improvements.
- Robust financial acumen with hands-on P&L; or budget ownership experience.
- Proficient in logistics software and systems (WMS, TMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp focus on operational efficiency.
- Willingness to travel across the zone and work flexible hours as required.
