Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network L2 Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise networking, routing & switching, and firewall administration. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting production environments, and expertise in FortiGate or Cisco firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Layer 2 & Layer 3 network devices.
- Administer and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/LACP, HSRP/VRRP, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot FortiGate or Cisco Firewalls.
- Implement and manage firewall policies, NAT, ACLs, VPNs (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), and security rules.
- Diagnose network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and performance issues.
- Work with ISPs and third-party vendors to resolve network-related incidents.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, configuration backups, and change implementations.




- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational security standards.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
- Experience managing FortiGate or Cisco Firewalls.
- Valuable understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or similar.

Certifications (Preferred)

- Cisco CCNA / CCNP
- Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP Network Security
- Any equivalent networking certification
