- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Database Administration or Database Operations Support.
- Experience supporting databases in production environments.
- Exposure to clustered database environments and high-availability architectures.
Technical Skills
- Robust knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.
- Experience with database administration, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
- Good understanding of database performance tuning concepts.
- Hands-on experience with command-line tools and Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of database security, access management, and auditing.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
- Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
- Exposure to Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or similar enterprise databases.
- Knowledge of clustered systems, replication, and high-availability solutions.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is an advantage.
