Position: COO (Chief Operations Officer)

Position Overview:

- We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead the company's real estate operations across all stages of project development. The role will be responsible for overall project execution, cost management, value engineering, procurement, contracts, engineering coordination, safety and project delivery.
- The COO will oversee key functions including Budgeting & Costing, Contracts, Procurement, Structural Design, MEP Services, EHS, ESG, and Project Execution. The primary objective is to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within approved budgets, in compliance with statutory requirements, and in line with the company's quality standards.
- The COO will report directly to the CEO(s) and work closely with the senior leadership team to drive operational and business objectives. The role will also coordinate with external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and project teams, to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Budgeting & Costing: Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost management from due diligence through project completion. Drive cost control (Audits), value engineering, and effective cash flow planning across the project portfolio.
- Contracts & Procurement:



Oversee contract strategy, tendering, vendor development, contract negotiations, and procurement of materials and services. Ensure timely procurement and cost-effective resource allocation.
- Structural Design & MEP Services: Oversee structural and MEP engineering during the design and execution stages. Ensure coordination between design consultants and project teams to deliver practical, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions.
- EHS & ESG: Ensure implementation of Setting, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across all projects and drive ESG initiatives in line with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Project Execution & Handover: Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements. Oversee project commissioning, customer handovers, housing society formation, and the transition to facility management.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. A postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration will be an advantage.
- 20+ years of experience in the real estate or construction industry.
- Experience as a COO, Director Operations, Zonal Head of Projects, or similar leadership role with a reputed real estate developer.
- Proven experience in delivering large residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
