Job Location Kalyan Thane Number of Vaccancies 2 Skills Required Understanding of air quality management NCAP framework Knowledge of municipal governance systems Environmental regulations and compliance awareness Project execution and monitoring skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Marathi and English Excellent report writing and drafting skills in Marathi and English Computer typing in Marathi and English In-depth knowledge of air quality monitoring techniques air pollution control technologies and regulatory frameworks Expertise in air quality data analysis reporting and interpretation using industry-standard software and tools Knowledge of best practices in urban air quality management and emission reduction strategies Strong project management skills including the ability to streamline and execute activities within a given timeframe Prepare EOI for Vendor identification and checking their competency and help Municipal Corporations in finalising vendor Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with government bodies industry partners community groups and other stakeholders Job Responsibilities Field visits within municipal limits for inspections and documentation Coordination with multiple departments Attendance in official meetings workshops and review sessions Planning and attending meeting and preparing minutes of meeting Development Implementation of Air Quality Management Plans Lead the formulation of air quality management plans aligned with the goals of the National Clean Air Programme NCAP Ensure the effective implementation of air quality improvement initiatives under NCAP at the local level Monitoring Assessment of Air Quality Data regularly and identify pollution sources within the jurisdiction of municipal corporation Provide technical guidance on the implementation of pollution control measures to address major sources of air pollution e g transportation industrial emissions waste management Develop and recommend strategies for pollution reduction and improving air quality Work closely with local state and central government to ensure alignment with NCAP objectives Engage with stakeholders including industries NGOs and community groups to raise awareness and promote action on air quality improvement Analyze air quality monitoring data prepare detailed reports and report findings to stakeholders Organize workshops seminars and public consultations to engage local communities groups in air Eligibility Direct Municipal Experience in Program Execution Specific Experience with NCAP or Equivalent Schemes Mandatory Reporting and Data Management Proficiency Familiarity with NCAP guidelines air quality standards and environmental regulations Understanding of national and local air quality management policies and practices Minimum 2 years of experience in air quality management environmental monitoring or a related field preferably with experience in the implementation of NCAP or similar air quality programs Hands-on experience in air quality monitoring data analysis and preparation of technical reports Residence Candidate residing in or near Kalyan will be given preference Please do not apply if you do not meet the required education skills knowledge relevant experience or eligibility criteria for this position Qualifications Minimum PG Diploma in Environment MSC Environment Science Masters in Workplace Science Environment Management Environment Engineering
