- Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations.
- Install, configure, and upgrade MongoDB instances maintaining support lifecycles.
- Solid understanding of:
- Aggregation pipeline and schema design approaches
- Manage and Monitor MongoDB deployments across multiple data centers using OpsManager.
- Perform routine database operations, including user management, roles, auditing, and schema design guidance.
- Identify slow queries, optimize indexes, and fine-tune database parameters.
- Conduct capacity planning and resource forecasting.
- Implement, configure, and maintain backup/restore strategies using OpsManager and scripts.
- Ensure high availability through replication, failover, and cluster management.
- Report and remediate MongoDB vulnerabilities published and safeguard database environments.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash or Ansible.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, replication lag, query issues, and cluster health problems.
- Provide 24*7 oncall support for critical and essential applications.
- Collaborate with application teams to optimize schema design and query patterns.
- Configure and maintain Vector Search indexes and Full Text search.
- Implement fuzzy search for typos, spelling variations, approximate matching, and user-friendly search flows.
- Suggest and implement best practices for backups, replication, and health checks.
