We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer with robust expertise in Appium for automating Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing mobile automation frameworks and possess at least one year (or one end-to-end project) of Retail domain experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.
- Validate REST APIs and backend integrations supporting mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
- Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis.
- Integrate mobile automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Ensure cross-device and cross-platform compatibility by testing across multiple devices and OS versions.
- Contribute to framework enhancements, automation best practices, and process improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
Skills &
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Experience testing both Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of mobile automation frameworks and testing best practices.
- Experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language used for Appium automation.
- Good understanding of API testing and backend validation.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
