At United we have some of the best aircraft in the world Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians engineers planners ground equipment and facilities professionals and supply chain teams that help make sure they re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations If you re ready to work on our planes join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape Job overview and responsibilities United s Digital Technology Operation collects mountains of data including operational performance task sign-offs schedule reliability performance Service Management and more The Manager wil be responsible to lead the Digital Technology Operation India Analytics and Business Intelligence teams The Analytics team needs to partner with business owners to pursue opportunities to improve United s Digital Operations provide data driven insights and drive innovation through analytics across various divisions This role requires not only analytics skills but also strategic thinking and strong communication skills The team will be responsible to deliver the right information to the right people in the right format at the right time all with the goal of enabling better operational decisions that improve United s Digital Operations MTTR performance and productivity Design develop and automate PowerBI reports for United s leadership and individual business teams throughout the organization Identify opportunities to improve United s Digital Operations and provide various divisions data driven insights through analytics Develop improved analysis methodologies and statistical models to improve forecasts and operational performance etc Document the Digital Operations data landscape maintain an inventory of reports and plan for report consolidation elimination and or improvement Continuously interface with business groups throughout Digital Operations to understand organizational needs and design solutions IT Communicate and share updates with US and India based senior leadership along with putting together regular insight presentations This position is offered on local terms and conditions Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas even on a time-limited visa status will not be awarded This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc Qualifications What s needed to succeed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering Data science or another quantitative field i e mathematics statistics economics etc 6 years experience in Data Analysis Business intelligence analytics and data engineering with 3 of those years in a Fortune 1000 company 1 year experience in a leadership supervisory role Deeply understands both the business functionality of applications systems being analyzed and digital performance of the applications systems providing the functionality Develops and implements predictive prescriptive data business intelligence Experience with ServiceNow Foundry Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Previous airline or travel industry experience is a plus Experience with AWS -
