Role Description This is a full time, on-site Metallurgist role based in Surat. The Metallurgist will analyze and optimize tungsten metal extraction and refining processes, monitor process parameters, and implement improvements to enhance quality, yield, and cost efficiency. Daily activities include conducting metallurgical testing, interpreting laboratory and plant data, performing failure analysis on components, and troubleshooting production issues.

The role involves collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to develop and apply process control strategies, support leaching and other extractive metallurgy operations,



and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The Metallurgist will prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and contribute to projects aimed at process innovation and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of Metallurgy and Extractive Metallurgy, with experience in tungsten metal processing and refinement.

Proficiency in Process Control and data-driven optimization of metallurgical operations.

Experience with Leaching and related hydrometallurgical techniques.

Capability to conduct Failure Analysis and root-cause investigations on materials and components.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Familiarity with laboratory testing methods, analytical tools, and metallurgical simulation or modeling software.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety.

Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
