MERN Stack – Full Stack Developer

React.js, Node.js & Next.js

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in React.js and Node.js to design, develop, test and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.

The role involves working closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and high-performance applications.

Experience in Next.js, Nuxt.js, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js.

- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices and backend services.

- Integrate front-end applications with backend systems and third-party APIs.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Architecture teams.





- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, code reviews and sprint planning.

- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.

- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability.

- Develop and maintain database schemas, complex queries, procedures and stored procedures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.

- Follow coding standards, security best practices and software development methodologies.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical excellence.

- Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native development practices.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing.

Mandatory Skills

Front-End Development

- Robust hands-on experience in React.js

- Proficiency in JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript

- Experience with HTML5 and CSS3

- Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS or equivalent UI frameworks

- Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, Context API or similar state-management libraries

Back-End Development

- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js

- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices

- Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS or similar backend frameworks

- Experience with authentication and authorisation mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth

Database

- Strong SQL knowledge

- Database design experience

- Experience writing complex queries, procedures and stored procedures

- Database performance optimisation experience
