Lyla Blanc is a contemporary perfume house crafting luxury-inspired fragrances for the modern consumer. Known for long-lasting EDPs, EDTs, and body sprays, we blend French perfumery tradition with Middle Eastern and global olfactive trends to deliver accessible luxury across e-commerce and retail.

Role Purpose / Summary:

To create distinctive, high-performing, and commercially successful fragrances that embody Lyla Blancs DNA. You will develop original compositions from brief to final submission, balancing creativity, cost, stability, and consumer appeal for Local and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Fragrance Creation: Compose original fragrances for EDP, EDT, body spray, and new formats aligned with Lyla Blanc briefs and brand codes

Trend Translation: Interpret market trends, consumer insights, and competitor analysis into winning olfactive directions, with strong expertise in Oud, Amber, Musk, Floral, and Fresh accords

Modification & Optimization: Reformulate for improved performance, longevity, sillage, cost efficiency, and IFRA compliance without losing character

Evaluation: Smell and assess submissions on blotter and in ethanol/base, providing technical feedback to evaluators and marketing

Raw Material Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of naturals, synthetics, and specialty bases relevant to affordable luxury segment. Drive usage of sustainable materials

Project Execution: Manage multiple development projects under tight launch timelines,



ensuring accurate documentation in PLM systems

Collaboration: Partner closely with evaluation, marketing, packaging, and supply chain teams from concept to market launch

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Graduate of ISIPCA, Givaudan Perfumery School, or equivalent recognized perfumery training

Experience: 3-8+ years as a Perfumer, preferably with experience in masstige, prestige, or Middle Eastern fragrance markets

Technical Skills: Solid olfactive memory, expertise in fragrance chemistry and stability across alcohol-based formats. Working knowledge of IFRA standards

Market Understanding: Deep appreciation of Local & Global olfactive preferences and global fine fragrance trends

Behavioral Competencies: High creativity, commercial acumen, speed, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications Experience developing fragrances for e-commerce driven brands Knowledge of encapsulation and longevity-boosting technologies Arabic or French language skills
