Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QAQC Engineer Civil for a Data Center Project in Navi Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, IS codes, method statements, and client requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for overall QA/QC activities for civil works at the project site.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plans, method statements, checklists, inspection reports, and quality formats.
- Carry out inspection of civil works such as excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, road works, drainage works, and other related civil activities.
- Ensure all construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, GFC drawings, technical specifications, IS codes, approved method statements, and project quality requirements.
- Check reinforcement, formwork, alignment, levels, dimensions, embedded items, anchor bolts, sleeves, inserts, and pre-pour readiness before concreting.
- Monitor concrete quality including slump test, temperature checks, cube casting, curing, cube testing coordination, and test report documentation.
- Conduct material inspection and verification of cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, waterproofing materials, finishing materials, and other civil construction materials.
- Verify material test certificates, third-party test reports,



calibration certificates, and compliance documents.
- Raise and maintain MIR, WIR, NCR, observation reports, quality inspection reports, and site quality records.
- Identify non-conformities at site and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions in coordination with site execution teams.
- Follow up for closure of NCRs, quality observations, punch points, and client/consultant comments.
- Coordinate with client, consultant, contractors, subcontractors, laboratory, and internal project team for quality-related matters.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, tracking, and reporting of all QA/QC records.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure execution teams follow approved quality procedures.
- Ensure project quality standards are maintained during all stages of civil construction.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports as required by the project.
- Ensure compliance with project safety and quality requirements at site.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of civil QA/QC procedures and site quality inspection processes.
- Good understanding of IS codes, construction specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
- Experience in data center, industrial, commercial building, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of RCC works, finishing works, waterproofing, concrete quality control, and civil documentation.
- Ability to prepare and maintain quality documents such as ITP, checklists, MIR, WIR, NCR, method statements, and inspection reports.
- Good coordination skills with client, consultant, contractor, and execution teams.
- Robust reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify quality issues and ensure timely closure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project documentation tools.
