Role Objective

Role Overview

We are looking for a D365 F&O; Finance Functional Consultant who excels in delivering high-impact, End-to-End (E2E) implementations. You will be responsible for the Full Lifecycle of the projectfrom conducting Fit-Gap analysis and drafting Functional Design Documents (FDD) to managing complex GST localizations and DIXF data migrations. This role requires a blend of deep accounting knowledge and technical agility to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.

Experience & Educational Requirements

- Education: MBA Finance, CA, or ICWA (Preferred).
- Project Track Record: Minimum of 2 to 3 end-to-end (E2E)

- Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Certification (Preferred).

Core Technical Expertise & Module Knowledge

- Financial Foundations: Expert knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets.
- Inventory & Costing: Deep understanding of Inventory modules, including Costing Versions, FIFO/LIFO/Weighted Average methods, and configuring Posting Profiles.
- Statutory & Localization: Hands-on experience with Indian Localization, specifically GST, E-invoicing, and TDS configurations.
- Data & Integration: Proficiency in the Data Management Framework (DIXF) for managing Opening Balances and complex data migrations.
- Specialized Functional Areas: Exposure to Budgeting, Project Management Accounting (PMA), and Subscription Billing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end D365 F&O; Finance configuration through testing and go-live support
- Own BRD/FRD documentation in direct collaboration with business stakeholders
- Configure core Finance modules GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting
- Support integration requirements between D365 F&O; and upstream/downstream systems
- Assist with Project Management Accounting configuration where the engagement requires it

Criteria

- 412 years of relevant D365 F&O; Finance functional experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / Inter CA / CA-ICWA (pursuing or discontinued) — Commerce background required, CA/ICWA qualification not mandatory
- Demonstrated independent configuration ability — no handholding required
- Immediate joiners strongly preferred; up to 30–45 days acceptable in exceptional cases
