Trainees can form an essential part of the execution and support ecosystem in the data center projects. They can contribute primarily to on-ground engineering, drafting support, installation coordination, and technical assistance across various project phases.
Trainees will be typically deployed in roles aligned with their core discipline such as Electrical or Mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on practical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Involved in hands-on and support-oriented activities, including:
- Assisting in engineering & design.
- Preparation of CAD drawings and revisions.
- Supporting site execution and installation activities.
- Monitoring electrical and mechanical works at site.
- Assisting in testing and commissioning activities.
- Basic troubleshooting of systems.
- Supporting quality checks and inspections.
- Maintaining project documentation and reports.
Technical Exposure
Gain exposure to:
- Electrical systems (LT panels, cabling, earthing etc.)
- HVAC systems (cooling, ventilation)
- Fire protection and detection systems
- ELV systems (BMS, CCTV, access control)
- Data center infrastructure components.
They may also work with tools such as:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- MS Office tools
- CFD Analysis.
- HAP
- ETAP
