- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Economics or Statistics to lead research and data-driven projects involving the preparation of statistical and economic indices. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in project management, quantitative data analysis, index development, and advanced statistical modeling using STATA. The role requires excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, and validate statistical and economic indices using appropriate methodologies.
- Analyze large datasets and generate insights using STATA and other statistical tools.
- Conduct quantitative research, data validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare technical reports, analytical notes, presentations, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with government agencies, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines, quality standards,



and data confidentiality requirements.
- Mentor and guide project team members in statistical analysis and project execution.

Required Skills

- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Expertise in preparation and validation of statistical/economic indices.
- Advanced proficiency in STATA.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, econometrics, and quantitative research methods.
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and interpretation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Robust report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements

- 10–15 years of experience in project management or similar functions.
- Degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of statistical or economic indices.
- Hands-on experience using STATA for data analysis and statistical modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on government, public policy, socio-economic, or research projects.
- Knowledge of survey methodology, sampling techniques, and impact assessment.
- Familiarity with statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, or Python is an added advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is desirable.
