Job title: Part-Time Microsoft Dataverse / Power Platform Expert Architecture + Build of CRM & Project Management System for Interior Design Studio

About us

Interiors With Art is a boutique interior design studio. We manage clients, design projects, suppliers, product orders and installations across a mix of tools and systems. We're consolidating onto Microsoft Dataverse and want a genuine expert to help us think through the architecture first, then build it with us part-time, ongoing.

The role

This is a part-time engagement with two sides to it:

1. Architecture & advisory

- Work with us to design the right overall architecture before anything gets built what lives in Dataverse, how it connects to the rest of our Microsoft 365 environment, and where the boundaries should be
- Design the data model: tables, columns, relationships for clients, projects, rooms, suppliers, products/orders, quotes and invoices
- Advise on environments, security roles, licensing, and a solution/ALM structure that stays maintainable as we grow
- Be a sounding board as requirements evolve we want a thinking partner, not just a pair of hands

2. Build & delivery

- CRM and project tracking: enquiry consultation proposal active project complete, with milestones, budgets, supplier orders and delivery/installation status
- Model-driven and/or canvas Power Apps for the team to use daily (desktop + on-site via mobile)
- Power Automate flows: enquiry intake, approvals, order-status notifications,



client touchpoints
- Data migration and integration our data currently sits in lots of different places and systems, so consolidating it cleanly into Dataverse is a significant part of the job
- Views and dashboards for pipeline and project health

You must have

- 3+ years hands-on Dataverse experience (not just Power Apps on SharePoint lists) data modelling, security, business rules
- Proven solution-architecture ability: you can design a system, explain the trade-offs, and defend your decisions to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong Power Apps (model-driven and canvas) and Power Automate skills
- Experience integrating and migrating data from multiple disparate sources into Dataverse
- Solution management/ALM discipline maintainable, documented, no black boxes
- Excellent English communication

Nice to have

- Microsoft PL-200/PL-400 (or PL-600 Solution Architect) certification
- Power BI; Dynamics 365 exposure
- Experience with small client-services or project-based businesses

How we'll workPart-time and ongoing. We'll start with a paid architecture/discovery phase to agree the design before any building, then move into build and iteration at an agreed weekly commitment.
