Role: GCP Data DevOps Engineer
Skills: GCP, IaC, Jenkins, CI/CD.
Experience: 5-12 Years
Location: Pan-India(Preferably Kolkata)

Job Description:

- Valuable understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline-based delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with pipeline and automation tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform / YAML-based templates).
- Exposure to Docker and container concepts.
- Basic understanding of DevSecOps concepts and shift-left security principles.

Hands-on exposure to:

- SAST tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify exposure level)
- DAST tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp exposure level)
- SCA tools for dependency vulnerability detection




- Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform fundamentals,

including:

- Projects, folders, organizations
- Billing conceptsWorking knowledge of IAM:
- Service accounts, roles, and permissionsExperience or exposure to:
- Cloud Build (CI/CD)
- Cloud Storage
- Artifact Registry
- Cloud Logging and MonitoringAwareness of GCP resource-level security risks and misconfigurations.

Exposure to:

- Container image vulnerability scanning (Artifact Registry or pipeline-based scanning).
- GCP logging and monitoring for security-related events.
- Basic exposure to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for container deployments.
- Understanding of networking basics in GCP (VPCs, subnets, firewalls conceptual level).
