- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes.
- Review and verify the accuracy of diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered by healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines for medical coding standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA privacy policies.
Job Requirements :
- Certified Skilled Coder (CPC) or Certified Clinical Coder (CCS) certification required.
- Minimum 1-9 years of experience in outpatient medical coding or related field.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
