We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Engineer to support testing initiatives across ETL, database systems, and application layers. This role focuses on hands-on execution, automation development, and collaboration with global teams to ensure quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python
- Execute test cases (manual + automated) and report defects
- Perform database testing and data validation using complex SQL queries
- Support ETL testing and data quality checks
- Work closely with onsite leads and developers to understand requirements
- Contribute to automation framework enhancements
- Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain test data and testing environments
- Assist in troubleshooting issues in scripts and environments
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Document test cases, scenarios,



and results clearly

Must-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience in ETL testing, database testing, and SQL queries
- Experience in automation using Python/Java
- Basic knowledge of API automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Required Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented workplace

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Git/version control systems
- Exposure to ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Basic understanding of Docker or containerization
