Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Manager to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and associated MEP activities for a large-scale Hospital Building Project in Ranchi .

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MEP execution, coordination, planning, testing & commissioning, and interface management for complex hospital/healthcare building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage complete MEP execution activities for the hospital building project.
- Coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, BMS, Medical Gas Pipeline (MGPS), and other specialized hospital MEP systems.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Ensure proper coordination between MEP, Civil, Architectural, Structural, and Interior works to avoid site clashes.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Monitor MEP work progress against the approved project schedule and ensure timely completion.
- Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Ensure MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor material requirements, procurement schedules, approvals, and availability at site.




- Review contractor/subcontractor progress and ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.
- Identify technical and execution-related issues and provide timely solutions to avoid project delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections and MEP coordination meetings.
- Ensure proper documentation, inspection requests, testing records, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, and handover documentation.
- Coordinate specialized hospital services and ensure integration with other building systems.
- Support quantity verification, billing, variation/extra-item identification, and reconciliation of MEP works.
- Lead the MEP team and ensure effective allocation and monitoring of manpower and subcontractor resources.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering .
- 10–15 years of experience in MEP execution and management within the building construction industry.
- Hands-on experience in Hospital / Healthcare Building Projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, ELV, BMS, and Medical Gas systems .
- Experience handling large-scale and technically complex MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Valuable exposure to testing, commissioning, project handover, and MEP documentation.
- Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage MEP activities at the project site.
