Role Description The Merchandiser role at Sealink Fashion Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising cycle, including coordinating with buyers, understanding product requirements, and preparing costing and pricing. Daily tasks include tracking orders, monitoring production timelines, ensuring product specifications and quality standards are met, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams, as well as regular communication with customers to provide updates and address queries.



The Merchandiser is expected to support sample development, analyze market and customer trends, and contribute to improving product assortments and commercial performance.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and international buyers.

- Customer Service skills to manage buyer relationships, respond to inquiries promptly, and support long-term partnerships.

- Sales and Retail experience to understand market demands, product positioning, and commercial aspects of merchandising.

- Marketing awareness to support product presentations, interpret brand requirements, and contribute to merchandise planning.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills for order tracking, documentation, and timeline management.

- Knowledge of knitwear or apparel manufacturing processes and quality standards;

experience in export-oriented units is an advantage.

- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis for cost sheets, reports, and performance tracking.

- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Apparel Management, Business, or a related field.
