A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. The role involves building relationships, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals
- Arrange meetings with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams
- Present product information, benefits, and usage guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Achieve assigned sales targets and expand market share
- Organize product demonstrations, conferences, and CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs
- Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Monitor competitor products and market trends
- Provide feedback from healthcare professionals to the company
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Required Skills:
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
- Sales and persuasion skills * Time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical products
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field
- Prior sales experience (preferred but not always required)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
