Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based at Vardhman Textiles’ facility in Budni. The role involves managing the mechanical maintenance of textile production equipment, including regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery to minimize downtime and ensure stable operations.

The engineer will plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, maintain maintenance records,



and coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, supervising maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Mechanical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering.
- Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair.
- Candidates should possess experience in implementing and managing Preventive Maintenance programs.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in maintenance within textile or process-based manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, use maintenance tools and diagnostic instruments, and work in shifts as required.
- Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
