Role Description The Mechanical Faculty role at RDS Digital is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru.

The Mechanical

Faculty will be responsible for delivering lectures, practical sessions, and workshops on core mechanical engineering subjects, ensuring that learners gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves mentoring learners, updating course content to reflect current industry practices, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Participation in academic reviews,



curriculum development, and occasional seminars or training sessions will be part of the routine responsibilities.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in core mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, mechanics, manufacturing processes, and machine design.

Ability to develop clear, structured lesson plans and teaching materials, and deliver engaging classroom and laboratory instruction.

Experience in assessing learner performance, providing feedback, and supporting academic growth through mentoring or guidance.

Familiarity with contemporary educational tools, basic digital literacy, and openness to integrating technology into teaching.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, accessible manner.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.

Prior teaching, training, or academic experience in mechanical engineering is preferred; industry experience is an added advantage.

Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams, demonstrate professionalism, and support a respectful, inclusive learning environment.
