Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in the NOCIL Dahej, Bharuch district.
The Mechanical
Engineer will collaborate with civil and structural teams to support the design and integration of mechanical systems. The role involves coordinating with project managers and cross-functional teams, supporting research and development activities, assisting in project documentation, and providing technical input during proposal and execution stages.
The Mechanical
Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement in design practices and support quality checks for mechanical deliverables.
Qualifications
- Must have site supervision experience in chemical plant.
- Proficiency in Machine Design, including component selection, stress analysis, and reliability considerations.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar)
for creating and reviewing mechanical drawings and models.
- Competence in Project Management, including planning, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and meeting delivery timelines.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;) to support innovation, optimization of designs, and adoption of current technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and safety practices for mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in calculations and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
