Monk 3D Technologies is looking for a Mechanical CAD Designer with strong hands-on experience in Fusion 360 and a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing concepts. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding client requirements, converting ideas into practical mechanical designs, and collaborating effectively with both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities
Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings using Fusion 360
Understand client requirements and translate them into manufacturable designs
Prepare production-ready drawings and documentation
Optimize designs for manufacturing, assembly, and prototyping
Collaborate with engineering, prototyping, and production teams
Modify and improve existing designs based on testing and feedback
Ensure accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability of components Required Skills
Strong practical knowledge of Fusion 360
Mechanical design and product development understanding
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals
Technical drawing and GD&T; basics
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Good communication and client interaction skills Preferred Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in product design, fabrication, or manufacturing
Familiarity with 3D printing and prototyping workflows is a plus
Portfolio or previous CAD projects preferred
