Role Description The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging online mathematics lessons to students from middle school through graduation level, ensuring alignment with Rising Bihar’s educational objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, explaining mathematical concepts clearly, assessing student understanding, and providing constructive feedback through assignments, quizzes, and interactive sessions. The teacher will collaborate with the team to improve teaching materials, participate in virtual workshops and mentoring activities,



and support students in exam preparation and foundational skill-building.

This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability for scheduled classes, student doubt-clearing sessions, and coordination meetings.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach concepts across different grade levels.

Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing structured, student-centered learning materials.

Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching experience in mathematics or related subjects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a straightforward, accessible manner.

Comfort with online teaching platforms and digital tools, including video conferencing and learning management systems.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a closely related field.

Demonstrated commitment to student empowerment, mentorship, and inclusive teaching practices.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to diverse learner needs.
