Role Description This full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role is based at Heritage Academy High School in Howrah.

The Mathematics

Teacher will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning goals. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes across assigned grade levels, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves designing learning materials, supporting students with varying learning needs, maintaining classroom discipline,



and participating in school meetings and academic events.

The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts clearly.

Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to high school learners.

Status as a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.

Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning setting.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to explain complex ideas in accessible terms.

Experience using educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment is advantageous.

Prior teaching experience at the high school level in India or similar educational settings is preferred.
