Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Linux & Veritas Cluster Administrator with strong expertise in UNIX infrastructure, Veritas technologies, and SAN environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing business-critical Linux servers, Veritas Cluster Server, and storage environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Linux/UNIX infrastructure (RHEL 6, 7, 8 & 9).
- Manage and maintain Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), and Veritas NetBackup Client.
- Perform host-based SAN migrations and storage administration.
- Configure and manage EMC and Pure Storage LUNs on Linux servers.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) testing activities.
- Handle critical incidents, crisis calls, and production issues.
- Participate in server delivery and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Provide technical guidance to support teams and ensure service excellence.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers to deliver infrastructure solutions.




- Automate administrative tasks using Ansible, Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting.

Required Skills

- 5–10 years of experience in UNIX/Linux Infrastructure Administration.
- Strong expertise in Linux (RHEL 6/7/8/9).
- Excellent knowledge of:

- Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM)
- Veritas Cluster Server (VCS)
- Veritas NetBackup Client

- Strong understanding of SAN technologies, EMC Storage, and Pure Storage.
- Experience in Production Support, Infrastructure Support, or Application Support environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Operations processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Industry certifications in Linux, Veritas Cluster technologies, or Ansible.
- Experience working in global and multicultural environments.

Mandatory Requirement

Candidates must have very strong hands-on experience in Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) and Linux administration.
