Job Description: Vice President Operations (Revenue Optimization)

Vertical: Revenue Optimization (RO)
1. The Mission
The VP of Operations (RO) is responsible for the financial health of our US Healthcare partners. You will lead a high-performance engine dedicated to maximizing client yield, reducing leakage, and resolving complex payer-provider friction and maximize contract utilization. At IKS, our purpose in RO is to reduce administrative burden, maximize revenue and enables growth at scale while using a variable cost model.
2. Strategic KRAs & Responsibilities
A. Financial Engineering & Yield Excellence
Revenue Yield Ownership: Accountable for the Net Collection Ratio (NCR) and Cash Collection Velocity across a portfolio of complex US health systems.
Leakage Forensics: Lead deep-dive analytics to identify "Controllable Denials" and upstream the gaps that impact revenue.
P&L; Management: Manage the operational budget for the vertical, ensuring a balance between high-quality output and optimal "Cost-to-Collect."
B. Technology & Agentic AI Transformation
AI-Native Operations: Partner with Product and Tech teams to pilot and scale Agentic AI workflows, shifting the workforce from manual follow-ups to "Exception- Based" auditing.
Platform Advocacy: Ensure 100% adoption of IKS proprietary tools, using real-time dashboards to drive proactive rather than reactive management.
C. Client Advocacy & Dyadic Leadership
CFO-Level Influence:
Serve as a strategic partner to US-based Client CFOs and COOs, presenting "Yield Recovery" roadmaps during Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
Dyad Collaboration: Work in a seamless "Dyad" with US-based Customer Advocacy leaders to align offshore delivery with client-side strategic goals.
D. Talent & Performance Architecture
Quartile Management: Drive a high-performance culture where 80% of the team resides in the Top 2 Quartiles of accuracy and productivity.
Domain Upskilling: Build a team of "Revenue Scientists" who understand the nuances of Payer Contracts, provider demographics, billing, PP, CBR.
Retention:
a. Maintain a high eNPS by creating explicit career pathways (Internal Mobility) for high-potential talent.
b. Ensure high engagement levels in the team through various ESAT parameters
c. Ensuring a Learning culture through training program coverage at all levels as per development plans for their account/department designed in the Career Architecture.
3. Qualifications & Competencies
Experience: 18-22 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM/RO. Must have led a large-scale (1,000+ FTE) operation with a proven track record of improving NCR for clients.
Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of Payer-Provider dynamics, ERISA, HIPPA and US Federal/State healthcare regulations.
Technological Fluency: Comfort with AI-led transformation; ability to explain how technology impacts financial outcomes.
Leadership: Experience managing "Leader-of-Leaders" (AVPs and Directors). Strong executive presence and communication skills.
