Job Title: Java UI Developer

Location: Chennai, India

Contributing Responsibilities

- Cooperation within Team and Company:
- • Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration of push technology with REST/GraphQL APIs and gRPC services.
- • Work closely with the middleware team to define and implement communication protocols and data formats, including gRPC.
- • Mentor junior developers on Java Swing, concurrency, and reactive programming.
- • Participate in code reviews with a focus on thread safety and UI responsiveness.
- Knowhow and Knowledge:
- • Share expertise in Java UI development, concurrency, and push technology through internal workshops.
- • Stay updated with emerging trends in Java Swing, concurrency, and real-time data handling.
- • Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting best practices for client-server communication and middleware integration, including gRPC.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Java UI Development: 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java Swing, JavaFX, or similar UI frameworks.

- Concurrency Expertise: Deep understanding of Java concurrency utilities (ExecutorService,



ForkJoinPool, Locks, etc.) and multithreading.
- Push Technology: Experience with WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, or proprietary push protocols (e.g., FIX protocol).
- Java EE/Jakarta EE: Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
- gRPC: Experience with gRPC for high-performance RPC communication.
- Testing: Solid skills in JUnit, Mockito, and performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Databases: Oracle/PostgreSQL with knowledge of connection pooling and transaction management.
- Middleware Integration: Experience working with middleware teams to define and implement communication protocols and data formats, including gRPC.
- Monitoring: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack for logging and metrics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills:

- Java Swing-based UI components
- Java concurrency utilities (ExecutorService, ForkJoinPool, Locks, etc.) and multithreading

Behavioral Skills:
