Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Order Based Planning (OBP) Consultant with strong Supply Chain Planning expertise. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP IBP OBP implementations and support, along with a strong understanding of customer order fulfillment, sales order processing, and forecast consumption processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support SAP IBP Order Based Planning (OBP) implementations and enhancements.
- Configure, test, and deploy SAP IBP OBP solutions based on business requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand planning processes and translate requirements into system solutions.
- Support and troubleshoot SAP IBP OBP-related issues in production environments.
- Analyze business processes and recommend best practices for supply planning and order-based planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
- Conduct system testing, user training, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.

Required Skills & Experience





- Minimum 8 years of Supply Chain Management experience.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP IBP Order Based Planning (OBP) implementation projects.
- Candidates with only support experience should have at least 3 years of SAP IBP OBP support experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- SAP IBP Order Based Planning (OBP)
- Supply Chain Planning Processes
- Customer Orders
- Sales Order Processing
- Forecast Consumption
- Supply Planning and Inventory Planning concepts

- Experience in configuration, testing, deployment, and support of SAP IBP solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with business users and translate business requirements into system solutions.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience in SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP, or related modules) is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain processes.
- Experience working in global implementation and support projects.
