Role & responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Plan and allocate work to operators and production staff.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure machines, equipment, and manpower are utilised efficiently.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies.
- Train and guide production operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuously improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency using lean manufacturing practices.

Preferred candidate profile





- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 38 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot production problems and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
