- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Timely submission of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Group reporting packs (including investor reporting)
- Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. IGAAP).
- Review of GLs and preparation of Schedules for financial statements
- Experience in handling financial audits like Stat Audit, Internal Audit and etc..
- Experience in handling the post-merger compliances and accounting
- Experience in preparation of accounting memos
- Review of accounting policies and procedures. Adopting and implementing of Group accounting policies
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives
- Develop and enforce compliance policies aligned with statutory and industry requirements. Preparation of SOPs per the local statutory requirements
- Design and monitor internal control systems to prevent fraud and ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement process automation and digital reporting tools to enhance accuracy and productivity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support new business initiatives and transaction reviews.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and statutory agencies.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and tooling teams to ensure proper asset classification and valuation.
- Support ERP implementation or enhancements related to fixed asset processes.
- Assisting in Interco Reconciliations and Solving Group team requirements.
- Assisting junior staff in day to day works and operational finance.
Compliance (Approx. 20% and growing)
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns like TDS, GST, Income Tax and TP.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes like TDS, GST, Advance Tax, and others
- Company filings and regulatory submissions with ROC, RBI and others.
- Handling of GST, IT Assessments and coordination with consultants
- Transfer Pricing Compliance and filing of necessary forms before regulatory authorities
- Arranging of information for tax assessments and coordination with consultants for smooth closure
- Handling of various state and central government incentives
- Liaison with auditors, taxation authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- CA With 3 - 5 Years of Experience
- Big 4 Statutory Audit Experience is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Finance Controllership function in a manufacturing or capital-intensive environment.
- Solid understanding of Indian GAAP and IND AS.
- Experience on handling of Teams
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle Or SAP.
- Robust MS Office skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Core Competencies:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations is a plus.
