The Candidate should not be more than 45 years old as of the last date of submission of application.

Educational Qualification

Graduation in Engineering / B.E. / B. Tech / M.S. / M. Tech / M. Sc. (Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering) or Equivalent Degree in above specified disciplines OR MCA from University / Institution / Board recognized by Government of India.

*Preferred Certifications in TOGAF / PMP / Oracle / Cloud Data Services / Certified Data Management Skilled (CDMP) etc.*

Period of Contract :The Term of Contract would initially be for a period of Three (03) years, extendable, at sole discretion, for a further period of up to Two (02) years. The Contract can be terminated at Two (02) months of notice on either side or salary and allowances (if any) in lieu thereof.

Experience Minimum Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with minimum Eight (08) years of experience in Data Architect role. Experience in Banking and Finance Domain will be an added advantage.

Job Profile Analyze, plan and define Data Architecture frameworks, define the policies, procedures, models and technologies to be used in collecting, organizing, storing and accessing the information and also plan and deploy roadmap for Enterprise Data Architecture.
Assess current state of data models, define the target Enterprise Data Architecture and migration plan, manage a common data domain consisting of data domains, specific data types within each domain and sources of data.
Architectural changes to improve data quality, ensure new data initiatives and related projects are aligned to Organization-wide target Data Architecture, including review and approval of key design documents.
Set up Technical Standards and Governance structure for Enterprise Data.
Translating business requirements into specific system, application or process designs, including working with business personnel and executives to identify functional requirements.




Collaborate with key stakeholders in IT Applications, IT Infrastructure, Vendors, Stakeholders to achieve enterprise business goals.
Responsible for extending Data Management, Data Engineering, Metadata Management, Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data Virtualization across the Organization.
Evaluate current state architecture and recommend and implement changes with a focus on modernization of Data Integration (ETL, ELT, API etc.) and Data Virtualization solutions.
Combine Business needs, Vendor roadmaps and technology trends to develop Enterprise Data Management Platforms and Product roadmaps and future state architecture diagrams for the bank based on their roadmap.
Provide technical and architectural guidance to projects, teams, and service providers, ensuring that new initiatives enable effective and scalable data storage, data engineering and data analysis capabilities.
Participate in architectural review, evaluations of data and analytics solutions and technologies. Build architecture / design systems to handle data in all formats from various source systems.
Work in cloud environments and also should have the experience and knowledge of cloud computing like AWS, Azure etc.
Define Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lake House, Storage, Compute, Table formats.
Publish data models for domain data products.
Establish reference/master data and conformed dimensions; standardize data history capture (Data lifecycle) and schema evolution policies, design patterns, API / data sharing, versioning etc.
Creating Data Governance Frameworks that define data quality, lifecycle management, and metadata repository standards.
Implementing compliances, encryption, access control and data masking to comply with various regulations like RBI / CSITE / DPDP etc.
Developing long-term Enterprise Data Strategies.




Structuring systems and data pipelines to support machine learning workloads and generative AI applications / AI / ML Infrastructure Integration

Key Skills

Minimum Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with minimum Eight (08) years of experience in Data Architect role.
Proven track record of setting up scalable Enterprise Data Systems. In depth knowledge of data reconciliation, storage (capacity planning), lineage using different tools in Data Architecture.
Having skills in migration of Databases, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes.
Experience in Relational Databases / Oracle / MS SQL etc. and NoSQL data storage technologies / MongoDB etc.
Knowledge of Databases, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes technologies.
Expertise in Data Modelling, Design and Data Visualization skills, Enterprise and dimensional data modeling.
Data management and migration skills.
Knowledge of Reporting Tools / Data Visualization Solutions.
Knowledge of Spark, Kafka etc.
Experience working with hosting GenAI solutions, including Vector databases.
Optimization and Workload Management.
Hands-on understanding of API design
Migrate data from Legacy Systems to Data Warehouse / Data Lake.
Creating Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models using tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, MS Visio etc.
Writing, optimizing, and managing complex queries across Relational Database Management Systems.
Designing ETL / ELT Data Pipelines, Data Integration, Migration frameworks.

Secondary Skills

Comfortable working in Cloud, Hybrid / On-Premises Private Cloud Environments
Designing and managing Cloud native data stores.
Bridging the gap by explaining complex infrastructure designs to non-technical business leaders.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists and executives to align engineering goals with business objectives.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Troubleshooting system bottlenecks, data downtime, and architectural performance limits.
Team Leadership: Guiding multi-disciplinary production teams and mentoring junior data engineers and analysts.
