We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Technical Advisor with 12-15 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices, with a strong focus on compliance and safety standards. As a Marine Technical Advisor, you will provide expert guidance on marine projects, support engineering teams, and ensure the successful execution of operations while promoting innovation and sustainability in the marine sector.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical guidance and support for marine projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for marine operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and optimize marine systems and equipment.
- Evaluate and recommend marine technologies and innovations to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in project planning and execution, providing expertise on marine logistics and operations.




- Conduct training and mentoring for junior technical staff and project teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for marine technical issues and client inquiries.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- 12-15 years of experience in marine technical advisory roles, with a proven track record in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine regulations and standards, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code.
- Proficiency in marine engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and other design and simulation software.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools, with certification such as PMP being an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
