The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, specifically within the banking sector, and will be able to work in a rapid-paced environment to ensure the quality and functionality of banking applications.Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct functional testing for banking applications, ensuring that all features and functionalities work as intended.
- Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing to identify and resolve defects and inconsistencies in the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Document and report defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact on business functionality.
- Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on test progress, issues, and potential risks.




- Ensure that all testing is done in compliance with internal processes and standards.
- Assist in preparing test reports and tracking testing progress for project stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, specifically within the Banking/Financial Domain.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the banking systems, functional processes, and operations.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and working with test management tools.
- Proficiency in functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise defect reporting.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Prior experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes within banking applications.
- Familiarity with any automation tools (though not mandatory) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
