Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
Prior experience in testing applications in the networking domain.
Handon experience in SSO (Single Sign-On), TOTM (Time-based One-Time Password), and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) validation.
Familiarity with web-based protocols and their behaviour in client-server applications.
Technical Testing Experience
Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
Working knowledge of remote access protocols like RDP, SSH, and VNC for connection and session validation.
Solid understanding of Linux environments—log analysis, service verification, and permission troubleshooting.
Should know the build deployment using AWS platforms Tools & Test Management Hands-on experience with Test Management tools such as TestRail and Xray (Jira plugin).
Ability to document, execute,
and track test cases and defects efficiently using these platforms.
Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and Agile workflow management. Good to have Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.
Exposure to AWS-based environments (EC2, S3, security groups, instance-level access and basic cloud debugging).
Role and Responsibilities Analyse requirements and prepare comprehensive manual test cases by exploring the application and understanding the requirement.
Execute test cases and API validation for the application.
Perform authentication and security validations including SSO, MFA, and TOTM.
Collaborate with development and product teams to validate deployments and environments (Linux/AWS).
Report, manage, and track bugs using TestRail/Xray/Jira.
Ensure traceability and test coverage throughout the QA lifecycle.
