Responsibilities

Store Operations

- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials as per company procedures.

- Ensure proper material identification, preservation, and storage conditions.

- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems.

- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables.

- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.

Inventory Management

- Track inventory movement and maintain optimum stock levels.

- Analyze consumption patterns and recommend reordering requirements.

- Minimize inventory carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.

- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory items and recommend corrective actions.

Techno-Commercial Coordination

- Coordinate with procurement teams for material requirements and purchase requisitions.

- Review technical specifications and material requirements received from user departments.





- Follow up with vendors and procurement teams for timely delivery of critical materials.

- Support vendor evaluation and material standardization initiatives.

- Assist in cost optimization and inventory reduction projects.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain all store-related records, GRNs, issue slips, and inventory reports.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and safety standards.

- Prepare MIS reports related to stock status, inventory valuation, and material consumption.

- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in Stores, Inventory Management, Procurement Coordination, or Materials Management.
