Position: Manager – Startup Incubation

Job Summary The Manager – Startup Incubation will be responsible for managing the end-to-end incubation lifecycle of startups at PIERC, from onboarding to graduation. The role focuses on supporting startups through mentoring, business development, funding facilitation, compliance, ecosystem partnerships, and performance monitoring while ensuring high-quality incubation services that enable startups to move from ideation to growth.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, onboard, and monitor startups through the incubation process.

Design and execute pre-incubation programs, entrepreneurship development initiatives, workshops, and mentoring sessions for startups.

Mentor startups on business strategy, market validation, product development, business planning, investment readiness, fundraising, and growth.

Develop milestone-based incubation plans and monitor startup progress regularly. Support startups in preparing business plans, pitch decks, financial projections, and investment documentation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with mentors, investors, industries, corporates, government agencies, academic institutions, and startup ecosystem partners.

Facilitate startups in accessing government schemes, grants, CSR funding, angel investment, venture capital, and other funding opportunities.

Plan and execute startup events,



investor connect programs, demo days, networking sessions, hackathons, and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Ensure smooth day-to-day incubation operations, maintain startup records, prepare reports, and ensure timely documentation and compliance.

Track startup progress, measure program outcomes, and support continuous improvement of incubation activities.

Promote entrepreneurship through outreach activities, ecosystem engagement, and strategic collaborations.

Support the execution of PIERC's incubation, acceleration, and entrepreneurship development initiatives.

Represent PIERC at startup ecosystem events, conferences, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

3 years of experience in startup incubation, entrepreneurship development, innovation management, venture building, or startup ecosystem development. Preference will be given to the candidate working with TBIs, AICs or any Startup incubation centres. Salary
