Job Summary
The Programme Manager / Senior Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, implementation, and management of high-impact programmes across sustainability, clean energy, climate resilience, advanced manufacturing, rural development, and other development-focused initiatives. The role requires solid programme management capabilities, effective stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects involving government agencies, development partners, industry, research institutions, and implementation partners.
The position involves supporting programmes from conceptualization through implementation by ensuring effective planning, operational coordination, field execution, programme monitoring, and stakeholder communication. The candidate will work closely with government departments, funding agencies, technical experts, consultants, industry stakeholders, and ecosystem partners to facilitate timely programme delivery and contribute to the successful execution of strategic initiatives. The role demands a balanced combination of programme management expertise, implementation oversight, stakeholder coordination, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, along with the flexibility to support both field-based and strategic programme activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end programme management across multiple projects from planning to implementation and closure.
- Develop programme workplans, implementation strategies, project timelines, monitoring frameworks, and progress trackers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, consultants, implementation partners, and technical experts to ensure timely execution of programme activities.
- Monitor programme progress, budgets, deliverables, risks,
and quality standards while ensuring compliance with project objectives.
- Prepare programme reports, dashboards, presentations, implementation updates, and management reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Support proposal preparation, project planning, budgeting, and programme documentation.
- Coordinate implementation activities across multiple project locations.
- Facilitate programme execution through regular engagement with implementation partners and field teams.
- Undertake field visits for project monitoring, implementation reviews, and stakeholder consultations, as required.
- Support workshops, consultations, capacity-building programmes, training sessions, and outreach activities.
- Identify implementation challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Ensure effective documentation of programme activities, field observations, and implementation learnings.
- Coordinate with Government Departments, Ministries, Development Agencies, PSUs, Industry Associations, Corporates, Startups, MSMEs, and Research Institutions.
- Support stakeholder consultations, review meetings, workshops, conferences, and strategic engagements.
- Prepare presentations, meeting briefs, agendas, minutes, action trackers, and communication materials.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with programme stakeholders and ecosystem partners.
- Represent the organization during meetings, consultations, workshops, and programme events, whenever required.
- Conduct secondary research, policy reviews,
sectoral analysis, and market assessments to support programme implementation.
- Prepare concept notes, briefing papers, reports, knowledge products, and analytical presentations.
- Support impact assessments, programme evaluations, and documentation of best practices.
- Track developments across sustainability, climate change, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and development sectors to support programme delivery.

Qualifications
- Excellent written verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, or related fields is preferred.
- Educational background in Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, Environmental Management, Energy Management, Climate Studies, Energy Economics, MBA, or related disciplines.
- 4-8 years of professional experience in Programme Management Consultancy (PMC), Development Consulting, Public Policy, Sustainability, Climate Change, CSR, Infrastructure, Rural Development, or Government Programmes.
- Experience managing or coordinating multi-stakeholder programmes involving Government Departments, Development Agencies, Corporates, Industry Associations, or Research Institutions.
- Exposure to programme implementation, stakeholder management, project coordination, and field operations.
- Experience in preparing reports, proposals, presentations, and programme documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for programme implementation and stakeholder engagement activities.
